Sha-King, (meaning): King Of All Kings, such a fitting name for this New York born Atlanta based artist. “Checkmate”, what a fitting title for his new CD. His new single “I Wanna Live” feat. Harvey Scales, (the first black songwriter to receive a platinum award for the single "Disco Lady") is the groundbreaking crossroads where Doo Wop meets Hip Hop. Sha-King is currently working on creating a new genre of music called Doo-Hop, which is a smooth blend of old school Blues driven melodies laid down under futuristic Hip Hop divinity.
